Another Visit from Alex

Alex had his first two-night stay with Grandma and Grandpa this past weekend as Chuck and Rebecca enjoyed a stay-cation at home. The little man got a bonus as his Aunt Sammi flew into town to attend a wedding.

Alex did his best to keep all three of us busy. He is a bundle of energy and loves exploring all around the house. He found a variety of ways to master the single step down from the kitchen to the family room. And he enjoyed climbing up the stairs (with one of us hovering right behind him), but preferred the "Grandpa Express" to carry him back down once he got to the top.

"I'll stop The Joker with my Bat-spoons!"

Despite the wide variety of toys Grandma has gathered for him, Alex had the most fun playing with the serving spoons. Their rack in the kitchen was one of his favorite spots, along with the cabinet full of plastic containers.

It was a wonderful, if exhausting, time and we're looking forward to his next visit.
